Before this national health crisis, Raven was one of the hundreds of thousands of school children receiving breakfast and lunch at her school, along with a meal at her afterschool center. Those meals are now gone for Raven and children like her.
This meal disruption is exacerbated by the loss of her mother’s job at a local restaurant.
Like many Ohio families, Raven and her mom are struggling now and must rely on organizations – like Children’s Hunger Alliance for their meals.
