As the federal government shutdown continues, Children’s Hunger Alliance remains committed to ensuring Ohio’s children have access to the food they need every day of the year. The lapse of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits beginning Nov. 1 could significantly increase childhood hunger, as low-income families who depend on those monthly funds for groceries will face even tighter budgets.
CHA and our partners across the state stand ready to support the children and families affected by the government shutdown.
